2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION TOA's H-1 is a cylinder-shaped, small flush-mount 2 -way speaker featuring high sound quality. 3. FEATURES • The H- 1 Speaker System features, flush-mount speaker design with a rotatable cylinder-type enclosure.

6. INSTALLATION 6.1. Direct Wall/Ceiling Mounting Wi t hout Us in g an Electrical Box St ep 1 . Ad ap ter Panel mounting 1-1. Using th e supplied hole pattern sheet as a guide, make an opening o f the specified size i n the wall or ceiling panel. Note The thickness of the suitable wall o r ceiling panel is 9 to 30 mm.
1-4. Clamp the wall o r ceiling panel using the tw o board clamps, and secure with the clamp screws. Step 2. Wiring and i m pedance changes 2-1. Pull t he cables out of the mounting hole in the wall or ceiling, then strip t he insulation back about 5mm fr o m th e cable ends.
2 - 4 . Attach two im pedance selector sockets to th e connector to select the desired impedance. Preset t o 830 (12 W f o r 10 0 V line a nd 6 W f o r 70 V line). Note The speaker is designed to be us ed f o r both 70 V an d 1 0 0 V lin e applications.

Since th e mounting bracket is marked with mounting angles at 1 5 ° intervals, u se this marking as a guide wh en adjusting the angle.
6.3 . Mounting th e Speaker Directly to an Electrical Box T he H 1 speaker system ca n al s o b e mounted directly to an electrical box*. Follow Steps 2 and 3 f or instructions. I n this case, use the outward-facing holes in the mounting bracket when mounting t o t h e wall or ceiling.
Grille 7. REPAINTING THE GRILLE AN D TRIM PIECE Follow the procedures below to change the color of the grille. 1 . Remove the speaker's angle adjustment screw ( 1 piece). 2.
