Option #2: C ros sover Cable If you plan t o netw ork only two T alkSwitch unit s, it is possibl e to n etw ork them via a LAN crossov er cable . Step A Connect th e two T alkSwitch 48-CA and/or 48-CV A units with a cr ossov er cable . Make sure y ou are u sing a cr osso ver cabl e and n ot a r egular LAN cabl e — see dia gram.
2. POWER UP AL L T ALK SWIT CH UNITS Connect th e A C adapter s t o each T alkSwitch unit and turn th e unit on b y pressin g the pow er button on th e fron t o f each unit. Th e light s on th e fron t of th e T alkSwitch units will be flashin g. This mean s that the y ar e pow ered up, an d conn ected to th e LAN, but their ID n umbers conflict.
