10 Chapter 2: H ardwar e Setu p 5 To i nsert the new memory module , fol low the step s below : a Release the ej ectors on t he memor y slot by p ushing t hem ou twards. b Align the notch on the gold edge of t he mod ule with t he notch in t he memory slot.
11 Chapter 2: H ardwar e Setu p Confirm New Memor y is Recognized Aft er i nst allin g a new memory module in the RackStation, we recommende d check ing whether or not the sy stem recognizes the new memory . To check the memory of the RackStation: 1 Start up y our RackSt ation.
