CONNECTING TO A DOLBY DIGIT AL DECODER OR DTS DECODER If using this DVD player to play b ack a DVD in a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital surr ound or DTS surround format, the DVD player outputs a Dolby Digital or DTS data stream from its COAXIAL DIGIT AL AUDIO OUT jack.

USING THE TIT LE MENU DVD With a DVD containing a title menu, you can select de- sired titles from the menu. 1 Press th e TI TL E but to n. ● The title menu will appear. 2 Select th e desi red tit le. ● Press the arr ow buttons ( ▼ / ▲ / B / s ) to change the setting, and then press the ENTER button.
F AST FOR W ARD/REVERSE DVD CD 1 Press t he FWD D o r REV E button during playba ck. (T he sou nd for DVD is mu ted.) ● For DVDs, pressing the FWD D or REV E button cycles the p layback speed in three s teps. ● For audio CDs, the playback sp eed is fi xed.
PLA YING FROM A DESIRED TITLE O R CHAPTER DVD ● Press the nu meric buttons to enter th e desired ch apter number d uring playb ack. The selected chapter will be located within the current title and then play ed back. ● Title s earch starts when any numeric button is pressed du rin g st op mode .

CHANGING TH E SU BTITL E LANGUAGE DVD The DVD player has a function which allows y ou to select the desired language for subtitles. Pre ss th e SUBTITLE button dur ing playback, and then p res s the ▲ / ▼ butt ons t o selec t the de sired su b- title la ng uage.
CHANGING THE ON-SCREEN DISPLA Y DVD CD You can check th e inf ormatio n ab ou t the dis c by p res s- ing the DISPLAY button on th e remote control. For DVDs Press the D ISPL A Y button . ● Pressing the DISPL AY button cycles the display on the screen.
