NOTE: DIAGRAMS & ILLUSTRATION NOT TO SCALE. 2 GENERAL INFORMATION The CFST and CFPF Series Unvented Room Heaters covered in this manual feature ceramic fiber split logs which glow realistically when the heater is operating. These heaters have a standing pilot and are manually controlled through the use of a milli- volt gas valve.

NOTE: DIAGRAMS & ILLUSTRATION NOT TO SCALE. 8 Step 2 . Route a ¹⁄₂ " (13 mm) gas line along the left or right side framing ( Figure 9 ). All appliances have a 3" long ³⁄₈ " NPT nipple installed at the valve. To quickly and easily complete the gas line routing, use the gas flex line kit, Model GFLV.
NOTE: DIAGRAMS & ILLUSTRATION NOT TO SCALE. 9 Step 7. Installing the Optional Remote Wall Switch – The standard millivolt system comes from the factory wired as shown in Figure 12 . Select a convenient location for the remote wall switch and connect the wiring to the appliance ( Figure 13 ).

NOTE: DIAGRAMS & ILLUSTRATION NOT TO SCALE. 12 The appliances covered in this manual are heater rated and produce a great deal of heat. Decorative brass trim pieces and hoods may tarnish because of their proximity to the heater opening and front face.
