9 US Getting Started About the AC power cord The supplied AC power cord has a 3-pronged gr ounded plug. If you are using 3-pr onged grounded mains, the plug can be inserted directly into the mains. However , if the socket is a 2- pronged gr ounded mains, use the supplied plug adapter or a commercially available plug adapter .

Depending on the type of disc to be played, select the appropriate indicator by pr essing SACD/CD or MUL TI/ 2CH (page 16). Also, as the dual layers ar e on one side, it is not necessary to turn the disc over . Y ou can play the CD layer using a conventional CD player .
