8 US What is a Video Ca ssette Recorder /DVD Reco rder? This is a DVD recorder with b uilt-in VHS video deck, and allows re cording/playback o f DVD discs and VHS tapes. DVD editing is als o possible. Recording and timer re cording Reco rd TV pr ograms on a DV D or VHS tape, either ma nually or using th e timer.
9 US Quick access to r ecorded titles – Title Lis t Display the Title List to vie w all titles o n a disc and sele ct a title fo r playback o r editing. Creating your own pr ogram – Playlist Record a progra m on a DVD-RW (VR mode) or DVD-R (VR mode), th en erase, move or add scenes as you like without changing the o riginal conten ts.

Hookups and Settings 13 US Connecting a c able box/satellit e receiver and set top box controller Connect the LINE 1 IN jack s using an audio/vi deo co rd. With this hookup, you can record any c hannel on the cable box or sa tellite re ceiver. Be sur e that the cable box or satellit e receiver is turned on.

DV/D8 Du bbing (DV/D8 t DVD) 87 US Dubbi ng Fro m a DV /D8 Format Tap e to a DVD You can simply record the enti re contents of a DV/ D8 for mat tape onto a disc. The record er con trols the DV ca mcorder for th e whole pr ocess. You can also se lect the s cenes on the tape u sing the on- screen displa y.
