7 Getting St arted Resetting the unit Before operat ing the uni t for th e f irst t ime, or after rep la cing th e ca r batte ry or chan gi ng the connectio ns, you mu st rese t the u nit. Remo v e t he f ront pan el an d pr es s the RESE T butto n with a pointed object, such as a ball- poin t pen.
