2 Modular Outlet Requirement Y ou must have a s tandard m o dular telephon e jack, such a s one of th ose show n below , to install y our phone . If you have one of the se jacks alrea dy mounte d, no tools are n eeded.
3 Installation Y our telep hon e is fully a ss em bl ed ex ce pt for the coiled ha ndset cord an d cl ear line cor d. T o Install Y our Desk Or T rimline T elephone 1. Plug one e nd of the coiled handset cord i nto the opening i n the handset. Push the plug in until it clicks ( Figure 2 ).

5 T o Install Y our W all T elephone 1. Align t he wall phon e plug w ith the jac k, then lin e up the ho le in the ba ck of the telepho ne set w ith the rive ts on the wall outlet pla te. Push in and slide th e telephone d own into pl ace ( Figure 4 ).
