5 Securing the Installation Space Ensure some space around the pr oduct for ventilation. An internal temperature rise may cause fire and damage the product. Be sure to allow the amount of space as shown belo w or greater when installing the product. ― The exterior may differ depending on the product.

19 U sing Magic T une T ouch Chapter 03 About MagicT une T ouch MagicT une T ouch is designed to control monitors. The program allows you to conv eniently control a monitor to adjust the screen brightness or color from a comput er , without the need to use buttons on the monitor .

The same method applies to both Windows 7 and Windows 8. ― After changing the screen siz e or PC/A V mode using the OSD menu, the monitor may need to be calibrated again. ― In the occurrence of an error during calibration, go to T ablet PC S ettings the Display tab.

34 Changing the Resolution ― Adjust the resolution and r efresh rate in Control P anel on your PC to obtain optimum picture quality . ― The picture quality of TFT -L CDs may degrade if the optimum resolution is not selected. 36 Changing the scr een size ― After changing the screen siz e, the monitor may need to be calibrated again. ― T o calibrate the monitor again, refer to "C alibration" on page 25 . In PC mode In A V mode Change the screen size as f ollows.
37 C onguring the HDMI black level - This menu is available only when a source device is connected via HDMI. - This menu may not be compatible with some source devices. If a DVD player or set-top box is connected to the product via an HDMI cable, the contrast and color ma y degrade and the screen may darken.
38 Enabling PC or A V mode - After changing the PC/A V mode, the monitor may need t o be calibrated again. - T o calibrate the monitor again, refer to "Calibration" on page 25 . Enable PC or A V mode according to the sour ce device connected to the product.

40 Check the follo wings. Installation issue (PC mode) The screen keeps swit ching on and o. Check the cable connection between the product and PC, and ensure the connection is secure. Blank spaces are f ound on all four sides of the screen when an HDMI or HDMI-DVI cable is connected to the product and PC.
41 Screen issue The screen is not clear . The screen is blurry . Check the cable connection to the product. Remove any accessories (video extension cable, etc) and try again. Set the resolution and frequency to the recommended level . The screen appears unstable and shaky .
42 T ouch func tion issues The touch function does not work. Make sure not to use an object other than your finger when tapping the screen. Make sure the screen or your finger is not wet. Make sure you are not wearing a glove and y our finger is not dir ty.
