User Guide P. 3 Using the Transmitter Your remote starter is equi pped with a 6-button, m ulti-channel, 2-wa y remote control. It c an operate two indep endent vehicles equipped wit h identical remote starters (see Mu lti-car operation section on page 17).
P. 4 User Guide Backlight: Press and hold t he button (for mor e than 3 seconds and less than 5 seconds ), to turn the Backlight ON for 3 seconds. If the button is pressed down for more than 5 secon ds, the backlight will stay ON until the button is released.

P. 8 User Guide Setting Your Vehicle Into Ready Mode If your vehicle ha s a manual transmission you mus t read the following ind ications. In order t o start the vehicle by remote, the unit must first be set to Ready Mode. If the u nit is not set to Ready Mode, it cannot r emote start the v ehicle.
