Do not remove the stopper pin before installing the base. Hold the main body of the product with your hand as shown by the fig ure.

Using the product 3-1 3 Using the product 3-1 What is a PC over IP? • This monitor can de code and di splay the sc reen of the server PC enco ded and transm itted through the network (LAN) as well as display the computer screen like a conven tional monitor.
3-2 Using the product 3-2 Connect to the host PC using a LAN cable The host PC must have an IP address. After connecting the LAN and setting the IP address, you can view the host PC screen on the monitor. Use the USB port to connect an external storage device (DSC, MP3, external storage, etc.

3-4 Using the product 3-4 Standard Signal Mode Table The LCD monitor has one optimal re solution for the best visual quality dep ending on the screen size due to the inherent characteristics of the panel, unlike for a CDT monitor. Therefore, the visual quality will be degraded if the optimal resolu tion is not set for the panel size.

3-7 Using the product SIZE & POSITION SETUP&RESET Menu Description H-Position Moves the position of the di splay area on the screen horizontally. This function is only available in ana log mode. V-Position Moves the position of the di splay area on the screen vertically.

Installing the Software 4-1 4 Installing the Software 4-1 PCoIP On Screen Display (OSD) The On Screen Display (OSD) local GUI (Portal only) is displa yed to the user when the device is powered on and a PCoIP session is not in progress. The OSD prov ides a mech anism to connect to a host device vi a the Connect Screen.
4-1 Installing the Software Connect Screen The Connect Screen is shown on startup except when the Portal has b een configured for a managed start-up or au to-reconnect. The logo displayed above the <C onnect> button can be changed by uploading a replacement image via the Administrative Web Interface.
