6 EN Setting the T ime Your microwave oven has an inbuilt clock. When power is supplied, “:0”, “88:88” or “12:00” is automatically displayed on the di splay. Please set the current time. The time can be displayed in either the 24- hour or 12-hour notation.
7 EN Cooking / Reheating The following proc edure explains how to cook or reheat food . ALWAYS check your cooking sett ings before leaving the oven unattended. First, place the food in the centre of the tu rntable. Th en, close the door Never switch the microwave ove n on when it is empty.
8 EN Stopping the Cooking You can stop cooking at an y time to check the food. You can also cancel any setting befo re starting by simply pressing Cancel ( ). Adjusting the Cooking T ime You can increase the cooking time by pressing the +30s button once for each 30 seconds to be added.
9 EN Using the A uto Reheat F eature The Auto Reheat feature has four pre-programmed co oking time. You do not need to set either th e cooking times or the power level. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable and close the door.
10 EN Using the A uto P o wer Defrost F eature The Auto power Defrost featu re enables you to defrost meat, poult ry, fish and Bread Cake. The defros t time and power level are set automati cally. You simply select the programme and the weight. Use only dishes th at are microwave-safe.
11 EN Using the A uto Crusty Cook Function With the Au to Crusty Cook feature, the cooking time is set automati cally. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons. First, place the crusty plate in the centre of the turntable and close the door.
12 EN Using the Manual Cr usty Cook Function This crusty plate allows you to brown food not only on the top wi th the grill, but also th e bottom of th e fo od turns crispy and brown due to the high temperature of the crusty plate. Several items which you can prepare on the crusty plate can be found in the chart (see next page).
13 EN Choosing the Heating Element P osition The heating element is used when gr illing. There is only on e position listed. We need to tell co nsumers when it sho uld be placed in th e vertlcal position.
14 EN Combining Micro wave and the Gri ll You can also combine microwave c ooking with the gril l, to cook quickly and b rown at the same time. ALWAYS use microwave- safe and oven-proof cookw are. Glass or ceramic dishes are idea l as they allow the microwaves to pene trate the food evenly.
15 EN Cookware Guide To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the fo od, without bein g reflected or absorbed b y the dish used. Care must therefore be taken wh en choosing the co okware. If the cookware is marked microwave-sa fe, you do not need to worry.
16 EN Cooking Guide MICROWAVES Microwave ene rgy actually pene trates food, attract ed and absorbed by its water, fat and suga r content. The microwa ves cause the molecule s in the food t o move rapidly. The rapid movement of these molecule s creates friction and the resulting heat cooks the food.
17 EN Cooking Guide(continued) Cooking Guide for fresh vegetables Use a suitable glass pyrex bowl w ith lid. Add 30 -45 ml cold wat er (2-3 tbsp.) for every 250 g unless anothe r water quantity is recom mended - see table. Coo k covered for the minimum time - see tab le.

The turntable's rotation makes the food brown more evenly. Preheating the grill for 4 minutes will make the food brown more quickly.
