- You can only hear sound from this monitor model if it is connected to a PC via a USB cable. Use this button to decrease the screen brightness for the 7" USB monitor. The LED blinks when the screen brightness is decreased to the minimum or when a screen brightness adjustment is completed.
POWER POWER Connect the power cord for your monitor to the POWER port on the back of the monitor. HDMI / DVI IN / RGB IN HDMI Connect the HDMI terminal at the back of your monitor to the HDMI terminal of your digital out- put device using a HDMI cable.
UP (USB upstream port) Connect the UP port of the monitor and the USB port of the computer with the USB cable. DOWN (USB downstream port) Connect the DOWN port of the USB monitor and a USB device with the USB cable. Note To use DOWN (Downstream Port), you have to connect the UP (Upstream Cable ) to the PC.
Headphone output terminal MIC Connect a microphone to the MIC terminal. Cable holding ring Fix the cables using the holding ring, as shown in the figure.
Connections Connecting Cables Connect the power cord for your monitor to the power port on the back of the monitor. Plug the power cord for the monitor into a nearby outlet. Use a connection appropriate for your computer. Using the D-sub (Analog) connector on the video card.
Connecting Using a HDMI Cable 1. Input devices such as digital DVD are connected to the HDMI terminal of the monitor using the HDMI cable. When all the connections are completed, connect the power cords for the monitor and DVD (or the device connected to the digital output terminal).
Note If you just connect using the DVI to HDMI cable without connecting to the sound source, you cannot hear sound. Connecting USB Note You can use a USB device such as a mouse, keyboard, Memory Stick, or external hard disk drive by connecting them to the DOWN port of the monitor without connecting them to the PC.

Note For more information on the driver installation and usage of the USB monitor, refer to Restrictions on the 7”USB Monitor . Installing and Using the USB Monitor 1. Engage and fix the USB monitor into the groove of the armrest holder. 2. You can adjust the location of the USB monitor.
3. Make sure to use the 7” USB monitor after properly adjusting the angle of its stand. This may cause the center of gravity of the product to change, leading causing the product to fall resulting in damage or a malfunction. 4. When moving a 7” USB monitor, take care not to knock the monitor against something.
1. Connect your headphones to the Headphone connection terminal. Connecting MIC Note You may connect your microphone to the monitor. 1. Connect the microphone cable to the MIC port on the monitor.
Swivel stand Using ( ), You can swivel the monitor left and right at an angle of 350° to set the monitor lengthwise. The rubber under the stand is to avoid the monitor slide. When you try to rotate the monitor in the state of the power cord or cable connecting to the monitor, the power cord of cable can be destroyed.
Monitor Mounting interface pad (Sold separately) 1. Turn off your monitor and unplug its power cord. 2. Lay the LCD monitor face-down on a flat surface with a cushion beneath it to protect the screen. 3. Remove four screws and then remove the stand from the LCD monitor.
Using the Software Using the WebCam Monitor This monitor can be used as a normal monitor for video communications and for viewing multimedia files simply by connecting the power cable and the USB cable to your PC. Minimum baseline spec • System Requirements CPU : 1.

7. Click the "Next" button. 8. Click the “Finish” button. The installation of the Web Cam Companion 2 is completed. Note For more information on how to use the program, refer to its “Help” section.
• Install or select the chat program you want to use. • Touch the “ ” position on the monitor. The chat window of the selected program appears im- mediately. • To change the chat program to which a shortcut was created, select the Utility in the Start -> All Programs -> Arcsoft Web Cam Companion 2 .

3. Arrange the monitors displayed in the 'Display Properties' window in the order they are actually used. 4. Then click "OK" button. Configuring the 7" USB Monitor Display Information 1. When the driver setup for the USB monitor is finished, a monitor icon is created in the system tray at the bottom of the monitor screen.
Checking the configuration After the installation, you can check the configuration by following these steps. 1. Right-click “My Computer”, and select “Properties” - “System Properties” - the “Hardware tab”. 2. Click “Device Manager”.

4. If you can see following message window, then click the "Continue Anyway" button. Then click "OK" button (Microsoft ® Windows ® XP/2000 Operating System). Note This monitor driver is under certifying MS logo, and this installation doesn't damage your system.
5. Click "Properties" in the "Monitor" tab. If the "Properties" button is deactivated, it means the configuration for your monitor is completed. The monitor can be used as is. If the message "Windows needs..." is displayed, as shown in the figure below, click "Continue".

How to delete the Natural Color software program Select "Setting/Control Panel" on the "Start" menu and then double-click "Add/Delete a program". Select Natural Color from the list and then click the "Add/Delete" button.
Adjusting the Monitor Direct Functions AUTO When the 'AUTO' button is pressed, the auto adjustment screen appears as shown in the animated screen on the center. Auto adjustment allows the monitor to self-adjust to the incoming Analog signal.
When pressing the MENU button after locking the OSD This is the function that locks the OSD in order to keep the current states of settings or prevent others from adjusting the current settings. Lock : Hold down the MENU button for more than five (5) seconds to activate the OSD adjustment lock function.
Note Though the OSD adjustment lock function is activated, you can still adjust the brightness and contrast, and adjust Customized Key ( ) using the Direct button. Customized key You can customize key assignment for the Custom button according to your preferences.

The Monitor has four automatic picture settings (" Dynamic ", " Standard ", " Movie " and " Custom ") that are preset at the factory. You can activate either Dynamic , Standard , Movie , or Custom . You can select Custom which automatically recalls your personalized picture settings.

Image Coarse Removes noise such as vertical stripes. Coarse adjustment may move the screen image area. You may relocate it to the center using the horizontal control menu.

You can change the size of the screen displayed on your monitor. • Auto - The screen is displayed in accordance with the screen aspect ratio of the input signals. • Wide - A full screen is displayed regardless of the screen aspect ratio of the input signals.
AV Mode This function allows the screen to be displayed at the optimal quality in accordance with the size of the screen when a 480P, 576P, 720P, 1080i, or 1080P video signal is input in HDMI/DVI mode. Set to Off when connected to a PC, Set to On when connected to an AV device.
HDMI Black Level When a DVD or set-top box is connected to your TV via HDMI, it may cause a degradation in the screen quality, such as an increase in the black level, a low contrast, or discoloration, etc., depending on the external device connected. In this case, adjust the screen quality of your TV by configuring the HDMI black level.
