SM10 Owner's Manual 1 Intr oduction The Samson SM10 rack mount mix er is a versatile tool f or many sound appli- cations. The SM10 mixer fea tures eight independent ster eo line input chan- nels, and includes two channels with XLR microphone pr eamps.

SM10 4 C ontr ols and F unc tions The follo wing section details each par t of the SM10 controls and functions. 1. VOL UME – T his knob controls the volume of channel inputs and is used to continu- ously adjust the loudness of the various signals being blended together at the Main Outputs.
SM10 Owner's Manual 5 4. EFX (Eects) Send – The EFX send knob allows you to rout e the signal to the EFX outputs. The EFX send is post-fader so the level of the signal is determined by the position of the channel Volume contr ol. These sends are usually used to r oute signal to outboar d eects devices.
SM10 6 11. Output Meter – This six-seg ment meter show s the continuous output level of the Main Mix, MON, EFX, or MIX B, depending on the position of the SOURCE select switch (see #10).
