7 — English SYMBOLS FUEL WARNING No smoking when filling with gasoline. Do not overfill. Full level is 1 in. below the top of the fuel neck. Stop the en- gine for five minutes before r efueling to avoid the heat from the muf fler igniting fuel vapors.

The safe use of this product r equires an understanding of the information on the product and in this operator’ s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Befor e use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.
11 — English UNP ACKING This product has been shipped completely assembled. Car efully remove the pr oduct and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. WARNING: Do not use this product if any parts on the Packing List are alr eady assembled to your product when you unpack it.

13 — English OPERA TION CHECKING/ADDING FUEL See Figure 4. WARNING: Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive. A fir e or explosion from gasoline will burn you and others. Always shut off engine befor e fueling. Never add fuel to a machine with a running or hot engine.
14 — English OPERA TION USING THE BA TTERY CHARGING CABLE See Figure 10. WARNING: The 12 V DC receptacle is designed to char ge vented wet lead acid batteries, not to jump start vehicles. Do not overchar ge battery or leave battery unattended. CAUTION: The 12 V DC receptacle pr ovides continuous charge.
15 — English MAINTENANCE Measure plug gap. The correct gap is 0.024−0.028 in. (0.60-0.70 mm). T o widen gap, if necessary , carefully bend the ground (top) electr ode. T o lessen gap, gently tap ground electr ode on a hard surface.
16 — English MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE NOTE: If a separate engine manual is provided for this generator , please follow the maintenance schedule provided in the engine manual instead of the maintenance information listed below .
17 — English TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION Engine will not start. The on/off switch is on OFF (O) . No fuel. Lubricant level is low . Spark plug faulty , fouled, or improperly gapped. Choke lever is in RUN position. Engine stored w ithout treating or draining gasoline, or refueled with bad gasoline.
