Attach the edge guide to either side of the planer for planing edges and attach the edge guide to the left side for making rabbet cuts.

Page 14 MAINTENANCE REPLACING BLADES See Figures 13, 14 and 15. The blades in y our planer are rev ersible. Therefore , you can reverse the blades when one edge becomes dull. Always replace or reverse blades in pairs. Do not attempt to sharpen blades.
