11 OPERA TION TO CHARGE A fully dischar ged battery pack with a temperature between 32°F and 150°F will char ge in about an hour . Charge the 24V lithium-ion battery pack only with the charger provided. � Connect the charger to a power supply.

15 OPERA TION TO INST ALL BA TTER Y P ACK See Figure 7. Pla ce the bat ter y pac k in the impact driv er, alig ning rais ed rib on battery pack with groove in the driver’s battery port. Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap into place and the battery pack is secured to the impact driver before beginning operation.
16 OPERA TION DIRECTION OF ROT A TION SELECTOR See Figure 9. The direction of bit rotation is reversible and is contr olled by a selector located above the switch trigger . With the impact driver held in normal operating position, the direction of r otat ion sele cto r should be posit ion ed to the lef t of the swit ch trigger for driving.
17 RIGHT WRONG Fig. 11 OPERA TION REMOVING BITS See Figure 10. Lock the switch trigger by placing the direction of rotation selector in the center position. Remove the battery pack from the impact driver. Pull the coupler away from the driver.
