5 1 3 2 4 Setup 1. Connect the DC plug of the pow er supply unit to the rear of the VP AP . 2. Connect the pow er cord to the pow er supply unit. 3. Plug the other end of the pow er cord into the pow er outlet. 4. Connect one end of the air tubing firmly onto the air outlet.
VP AP basics The control panel of y our VP AP device includes an LCD screen as well as a Start/Stop but ton, Push dial and the Inf o and Setup menu k e ys. Key: Info menu Setup menu Push dial Start/Stop Climate Control Heated tube Ramp Humidity level Home Setup menu Allows you to make changes to settings or exit from the menu.
1. F rom y our HOME screen, turn until the RAMP screen is display ed in blue. 2. Press . The selection is highlighted in orange. 3. T urn until the ramp time you require is display ed.
Selecting the mask type T o select your type of mask: 1. Press . The SETTINGS screen is display ed. 2. T urn until Mask is display ed in blue. 3. Press . The selection is highlighted in orange. 4. T urn until the mask set ting that y ou require is display ed.
Getting star t ed 1. Make sure the po wer is connected. 2. Adjust the ramp time if required. 3. Fit your mask as described in y our mask user guide. 4. T o st art therapy , simply breathe into the mask and/or press . 5. Lie down and arrange the air t ubing so that it is free to mo ve if y ou turn in y our sleep.
Viewing the tr eatment scr eens Depending on how the sy stem has been configured, you will see one of the f ollowing e xample screens (shown in the S T mode) once therapy has started: 9 H5i humidifier.

SD card An SD card has been supplied to gather therapy data from your VP AP device and provide set tings updates from y our clinician. When instructed to do so, disconnect the VP AP de vice from the pow er outlet, remov e your SD card, insert it in the protective f older and send it to your clinician.
