128-6844 3 of 12 The Triggered LED Indicates: Whenever the system is armed and then triggered from either entry point or any additional sensor device, the triggered LED will flash 15 times, and the hand held transceiver will play a melody . Note: Upon trigger , the hand held unit can be selected to vibrate, play a melody , or both.
128-6844 4 of 12 4 Check V ehicle Status: Press the lock+key+option buttons simultaneously for 1 second. The vehicle's alarm will display the systems current status breifly by flashing the LED associ- ated with the state the vehicle was left in.

128-6844 6 of 12 þ Siren sounds two chirps. If the siren sounds 4 chirps, then the alarm was triggered in your absence. Before turning the key on, examine the LED and refer to th e INTRUSION WARNING SIGNALS section of this manual to iden- tify which zone was triggered.
128-6844 7 of 12 INTRUSION W ARNING SIGNALS This system will inform you if an intrusion attempt has occurred while you were away from the vehicle. If an intrusion attempt has occurred, the siren will chirp 4 times and the parking lights will flash 3 times when disarming the system.
128-6844 8 of 12 Programming Y our Custom Override Code: Unlike override switches easily found, and defeated, this security system allows the consumer to program a personal override code, offering a higher level of security . T o take advantage of this option, programmable feature # 10 must be selected for the Custom Code Option.
128-6844 9 of 12 8. Turn the ignition switch to the off position. Immediately observe the LED flash pattern. Y ou will note the LED flashing five times, pause, and then flash two times, pause. This pattern will be repeated three times indicating the new code (52) has been accepted and stored in memory .

T o stop the alarm, press and hold the ARM or DISARM button on the transmitter again for 3 seconds. If the button is not pressed, the alarm will automatically stop after 30 seconds.
