11 Installing Digital V oice Manager 1. Connect the player with the computer as instructed in the previous section. 2. Windows: T o access the RCA Digital Voice Manager installer , go to My Computer (.

13 With day and time set, y ou can always read on the displa y the recording dat e and time of your recor ded messages. Normal recor ding is still possible without setting. How ever , no correct recording date and time can be refer enced in your rec orded messages.
Selecting folders and files 1. While playback is stopped, press and hold MENU/INFO to access the pla yer menu. 2. Press / to select Folders and press to confirm. 3. Press + / - to select folder and pr ess to confirm. 4. Press + / - to select files and press to confirm.
15 Setting recor ding mode Manual Recording 1. While playback is stopped, pr ess Rec to start recording. Rec ording time will be display ed once you press the button. 2. T o pause recording , press Rec once, press again to resume r ecording . 3. T o stop recording , press ST OP .
16 Setting recor ding quality Definition: • LP (Long Play) – allows about 800 hours recor ding. Recor ding format: .voc • SP (Standard Play) – allow s about 140 hours recording . Recording format: .voc • HQ (High Quality) – allows about 70 hours recor ding.
17 Deleting files Bookmarks 1. While playback is stopped, pr ess . 2. Press + / - t o select one of the deleting options: • Delete the current file ( Curr ent file name) • Delete all files in the current folder ( ALL) and press to select the desired option.
18 Selecting an edit func tion 1. While playback is stopped, press and hold MENU/INFO t o access the play er menu. 2. Press / to select Edit and press to confirm. 3. Press + / - t o select Inser t, Append or Cut and press to confirm. 4. T o disable the edit function, selec t Off and press to confirm.
19 F ormating Settings T o format the memory of the player 1. Select Format in Settings menu. Refer to Settings section for details . 2. When Format is selected, ALL D A T A IN MEMORY WILL BE PERMANENTL Y REMOVED will be shown. 3. Press to confirm your selection and start the formatting.
