4 NO TE: Before beginning, disconnect the negativ e (-) ter minal of the batter y prior to working on the positive (+) terminal to prev ent an electrical shor t to ground. This is impor tant, unless you want to spend the rest of y our life with a nic kname like "Sparky" or "Smoke y .

The ne xt step is to connect the P ower , Ground, and Remote wires to your DEQ-230. The power wire should run from the mounting location through the v ehicle to the batter y or power distribution bloc k. A void sharp cor ners, creases, and sharp body par ts.
1. INPUT - Connect RCA cables from y our head unit or other signal source here. 2. Attenuation - Push this s witch in to accept high lev el RCA inputs (up to 8v) or direct speaker lead inputs from common grounded (not high pow ered) headunits. See diagram below f or wiring.
