8 REPLACE SP ARK PLUG Replace the spark plug eac h year to ens ure the engine starts eas ier and runs better . Set spark plug gap at 0. 025 inch. Ignition tim ing is fixed and nonadjustable. 1. T wis t, then pull off spark plug boot. 2. Remove spark plug from c ylinder and discar d.
