10 ADJUSTING THE HANDLE WAR N I NG : When adjusting the han- dle, be sur e it remains abov e the s afety label and below the mark or arr ow on the s haft. 1. Loos en wing nut on handle. 2. R otate the handle on the s haft to an up- right pos ition; retight en wing nut.

16 ENGINE S Remov e spark plug and pour 1 teaspoon of 40 :1 , 2- cycle engine oil (air c ooled) thr ough the spar k plug opening. Slow ly pull the star ter rope 8 to 10 times to dis tribute oil. S Replac e spark plug with new one of rec om- mended type and heat range.
