8 3. Usi ng bar tool, roll c hai n around guid e bar to ensure all links are in bar groove. 4. Lift up tip of guide bar to c heck f or sag. Releas e tip of guide bar, then t urn ad- justing sc r ew 1 / 4 turn c lock wis e. R epeat until sag does not ex ist.
9 THROTTLE LOCK- - OUT The THROTTLE LOC K- - OUT must be pres s ed before y ou c an squ eeze the t hrott le trigger. This feature pre vents y ou f rom acci - dentally s queez ing the trigge r .
10 WAR N I NG : The chain must not move w hen the engine runs at idle s peed. If the chain mov es at idle s peed refer to C AR- BUR ETOR A DJ UST MENT w ithin this manual. Avoid cont act w ith the muffler . A hot muffler can caus e s erious bur ns. T o stop the eng ine move t he ON /STOP sw itch to the STOP position.
