8 3. Us ing bar tool, roll c hain around guide bar to ensure all links are in bar groove. 4. Lift up tip of guide bar to c heck for s ag. Releas e tip of guide bar , then turn ad- justing sc rew 1 / 4 turn c lock wise. R epeat until sag does not ex ist.
9 THROTTLE LOCK- - OUT The THROTTLE LOC K- - OU T must be pres sed befor e you c an squeez e the throttle trigger. This featur e prevents y ou from acc i- dentally s queezin g the trigger.
10 WAR N I NG : The chain mus t not move w hen the engine runs at idle s peed. If the chain mov es at idle s peed refer to CAR - BUR ETOR ADJ USTMEN T within this manual. Avoid cont act with the muffler . A hot muffler can caus e serious burns. T o stop the engine mov e t he ON/S T O P sw itch to the STOP pos ition.
