10 IGNITI ON SWITCH ON STO P Cho ke Lever 1. Mov e ON/S T O P s witch to the ON pos i- tion. 2. Slow ly pres s pr imer bulb 6 times. 3. Pull c hoke/fas t idle lever out to the full extent ( to the FULL CHO KE posit ion). 4. Pull t he starter rope s harply 5 times with your right hand.

16 REPLACE SP ARK PLUG The spar k plug s hould be replac ed each year to ens ure the engine starts eas ier and runs better. Ignition timing is fix ed and non- adjustable. 1. Loos en 3 sc rews on cy linder cov er . 2. R emove the c ylinder c over . 3. Pull off the s park plug boot .
17 HE LPFU L TIP During s torage of your gas / oil mixtur e, the oil w ill sepa- rate from t he gas. We recommend that y ou shak e the gas c an weekly to insur e proper blending of the gas and oil. ENGINE S Remov e spark plug and pour 1 teas poon of 4 0:1 , 2-cycl e engine oil ( air cooled) through the s park plug opening.
