9 FUELING & LUBRICA T ION WAR N I N G : R emove fuel c ap slow- ly w hen refueling. FU EL ING E NG INE This engine is c ertified to oper ate on unleaded gas oline. Before oper ation, gasoline mus t be mix ed with a good qualit y sy nthetic 2-cy c le air-c ooled engine oil designed to be mix ed at a r atio of 40:1.
10 OFF HALF CHOKE /F AST IDLE LE VER Choke / fas t idle le ver (SIDE VIEW ) FULL 6. Pull the s tarter r ope sharply with your right hand until t he engine star ts. 7. Allow the engine to run f or approx imately 5 sec onds . Then, squeeze and releas e throttle trigger to allow engine to retur n to idle speed.

12 CUTTING A F ALLEN TREE (BUCKING) Buc king is the term used for cut ting a fallen tree to the des ired log siz e. WAR N I N G : D o not st and on t he log being cut. Any portion c an roll caus ing loss of footing and contr ol. Do not s tand downhill of the log being cut.
