The VESA DPMS proposal provides four phases of power saving modes by detect ing the horizontal or verti cal sync signal.

This button is also a Funct ion Select button. 2. Adjustment Control Buttons These two buttons allow you t o adjust the selected control functions in the OSD.
9 Adjusting the Monitor’s Display OSD Main Menu (Please refer to Chapter 1 for details on functions) To access the OSD main m enu, press the OSD Menu button. Use the Function Select buttons t o scroll between the OSD mai n menu options. The option that is curren tly selected is highlighted.
10 AUTO-ADJUST : Use the Adjustment C ontrol buttons to apply the automatic monitor setting s. H-POSITION: Use the Adjustment Control buttons to move the LCD m onitor’s display left or right on a horizontal plane. V- POSITION: Use the Adjustment Control buttons t o move the LCD m onitor’s display up or down on a vertical plane.
11 OSD-V- POSITION: Use the Adjustment Control buttons to change the position of t he OSD on a vertical plane. OSD-TIMER : Use the Adjustment Control buttons to change the OSD display time. EXIT: Pressing the Function Enter button exits t he OSD-Control subm enu.
12 RESET: Pressing either of the Adjustm ent Control buttons resets Contrast , Brightness and Color parameters. EXIT: Pressing the Function Enter button exits t he Graphic-Control subm enu. Misc-Control Option The Misc-Control m enu option let s you select the OSD displa y language, adjust the volume setting and view system information.

Due to output tim ing differences am ong various VGA cards, you may initially experience an un stable or unclear display wh en a new display mode or new VGA card is selected.
