C607M-E (2/09) 7 Description The RCS Ser ies rack mount power suppl y consists of a multi-ou tput, indoor , rack mounted po wer supply th at can provid e power fro m a sing le source for 8, 16, or 32 cameras. The RCS Series is designed with transformers that mini mize voltage variance s across the full r ange of loads.

C607M-E (2/09) 9 Indicators and Connections FRONT PANEL The front panel of the RCS Series r ack mount power supply contains the following indicators and moun ting holes. Figure 2. Front Panel (circuit breaker model shown) NOTE: The additional hole s on the front panel are used for the optional locking face plate.
10 C607M-E (2/09) REAR PANEL The rear panel of the RCS Series rack mount power supply cont ains the follow ing connectors. Figure 3. Rear Panel Connecto rs ì= V oltage Selector Switch: Determines the voltage of the un it. By default, the unit is eq uipped for 1 15 V AC line voltage .
C607M-E (2/09) 11 Rack Installation The RCS Series rack mount po wer supply fits into an industry-s tandard 19-inch (48 cm) e quipment rack. Y our unit occupies 1 RU (1 .75 inch es or 4.5 cm) of ver tical rack sp ace. The hard ware necess ary to moun t the power supply into a rack is supplied with the unit.

If neces sary , change the voltag e from 115 V AC to 230 V A C by rotating the selector switch located next to the power con nector (r efer to Rear Panel on pa ge 10).
