6 C1619M-I (11/07) Description The Endura ® wor kstation is a high- end personal comp uter designed t o deliver optimu m performance fo r the WS5000 advance d system softwar e. The Endura workst ation has two video ou tputs, a USB keyboard , and a mouse.
C1619M-I (11/07) 7 Before Y ou Begin Endura is a network system that re quires a contin uous amount of bandwidth to transmit tr ue, live video. Therefore, always inclu de y our network administrator when plan ning and installing Endura comp onents.

10 C1619M-I (11/07) Equipment Placement and Rack Mounting The Endura workstation can be pl aced on a fl at surface, such as a d esktop, o r mounted in an equipme nt rack.
C1619M-I (11/07) 11 RACK MOUNTING The Endura workstation mounts into an industry -standar d 19-inch (4 8 cm) equip ment rack. Th e Endura wor kstation oc cupies tw o rac k units (3.5 inches or 8.9 cm) of vertica l rack space. The hardware ne ce ssary to mount the Endura wor kstation into a rack is supplied wi th the unit.

14 C1619M-I (11/07) 9. Place the un it onto the mount ra ils by sliding the chassis bra ckets onto the rails. This ste p may require two pe ople to lift and slide the unit into place. The unit should slide in and ou t of the rack easily . Refer to Figure 9.
