4 1. T o Open Lid: Hold lid handle tightly and turn it clockwise to disengage lid from unit W ARNING: USE PROTECTION IF UNIT IS HOT . 2. Place the food into the inner pot. Do not fill the unit over the 2/3 marking. When cooking foods that expand during cooking such as rice or dried vegetables, do not fill the unit over ½ full.
