Locate the drive gear into t he ge ar inside the printer by the rear left corner of the unit, and lower the belt unit flat inside the printer .

Pull the two fus er retaini ng levers (2 ) towards the front o f th e printer so that they are fully upright. 4. Holding the fuse r by its handle (1), l ift th e fuser straight up and out of the printe r.

INSTALLING UPGRADES > 66 6. C arefully remove the new memor y board from its wrapping. T r y to handle the board only by its shor t edges, avoiding contac t wi th a ny meta l pa r ts as far as p ossible . I n par ticul ar, avoid touching the edge connector.

Ho ld the ne w memory boa rd by its short ed ge s, so th at the edge c o nnector fac es in towards the RAM expans ion slot , and the small cutout is closer to t he bot tom of the pri nter. 11. INSTALLING UPGRADES > 68 SEC OND PAPER TRA Y An additional paper tray can be installed and, when combined with the standard paper t ray, increases the paper capacity to 830 sheet s (approximately).
