10 Saf ety Precautions ■ Maintaining the printer Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the printer . There are no user serviceable par ts inside the printer . The printer contains high-voltage components. Nev er attempt an y maintenance procedure not descr ibed in this guide.
11 Saf ety Precautions Caution ➤ You may cause injury or damage the printer if you ignore any of these safety precautions. ■ Choosing a location Do not install the printer in a location that is unstable or subject to e xcessiv e vibration.

Head cleaning can be perf or med either from the printer dr iv ers or from the pr inter itself . Note ➤ Cleaning the head consumes ink, so perform head cleaning only when necessary.
