NuVision TM808 User Manual Introduction Thank you for purchasing the NuVision TM808 8” Windows tablet. It utilizes touch technology to make your personal computing and media content experience, both seamless and immersive.
Safety Instructions Please read the following instructions and notices before using your tablet. 1. Avoid using in extrem ely hot, cold, dusty, damp or wet environments. 2. The tablet is not moisture/water-resistant. Avoid using the tablet around sources of water.
Function and Feature Overview 1. Power: Turn On: Press and hold for a couple of seconds; Turn Off: Press and hold for a couple of seconds. Slide nger downward to shut off the Tablet when prompted. Sleep Mode: Press momentarily to turn off display. Reset tablet: Press and hold for 10 seconds 2.
Getting Started with Your Tablet Power On/Off/Standby Mode/Reset ON: Press and hold the side Power button on the side for a couple of seconds until the logo screen appears, then release. OFF: Press and hold the side Power button. When prompted, slide nger downward to shut off the tablet.
To choose or change a password, swipe your nger inward at the right edge of the screen to display the Charm Menu. When a password is required you must choose one to sign in.
5 When rotating your Tablet the screen content adjusts automatically to the proper position, either in portrait or landscape modes. NOTE: Us e Portrait mode to enter the 25 character key to activate Ofce 365 Personal.
On Screen Text Display When you tap either the search icon or curser within a text box, your Tablet will automatically display a virtual and responsive keyboard to type. On Screen Text Settings Text suggestions appear as you enter words. To insert a suggestion made you can tap it or press the Spacebar.

View Apps Side by Side To display two apps together side-by-side swipe an open app inward from the left edge, drag it and hold. Release to one side. A dual screen interface will appear to place the second application. To change o ne of the apps, go to Start Menu or the Apps view and tap (or click) on an app.
Connecting To the Internet This Tablet utilizes W iFi 802.11b/g/n networks to connect with the internet so that you may access the world-wide-web, send emails, and download apps. (WiFi distance may be affected by your surrounding environment and WiFi router).

Ofce 365 Personal Usage After activating your Ofce 365 Personal software you can access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, OneNote and Publisher from the Apps Menu. From there you can select to move to the Desktop task bar or pin to the Start Menu.
You can pin Ofce programs to the Start Menu in the form of tiles or pin to the Task Bar on the Desktop. Press and hold a program, then drag to pin to the Start Menu or Task Bar.
Using Windows 8.1 Using Tiles Tiles are used to open apps, receive alerts and notications, receive the latest weather and sports news, and to access your favorite websites, important les or contacts (from your People app). For convenience, pin apps to the Start Menu by dragging them from your App Menu.
Installing Programs You can download and install applications from the Windows Store, or from other trusted publisher, a CD/DVD from an external device, and from your home or business network. Most programs written for Windows 7 will also work with Windows 8 however some older programs may run poorly or not at all.
