It also acts as a database server for synchronization of config uration informatio n with all MG 1000 S systems.

The Signaling Server is an industry -standar d, PC-based server that provides a central processor to drive H.323 and Session Init iation Protocol (SIP) signaling for IP Phones and IP Peer Networking.

If the MG 1000S is on a physically different subnet, such as in a differen t building, then you can use VLANs to keep IP addresses on the same logical subnet.
