3 (30) Introduction This is a user guide for inst alling servic e sw and phone programm ing in FPS- 8 environm ent. This guide wil l help you wi th the insta llation and wi th the basic problem solving. NOTE! Pictures in thi s docum ent m ay differ from the actual.
4 (30) Glossary Algorithm code Flash prog ramm ing algorithm code. This c ode runs in the target system and it must suppor t used Flash ty pe and phone hw. The p romm er box can contain several alg orithm codes; ea ch code suppor ts one or mo re different F lash devices.
5 (30) 1 Overv iew FPS-8 is a program ming dev ice for DCT4 phones. Wh en equipped with powe r supply m odule ACS-10 it c an also be used for program ming latest DCT-3 phones.

9 (30) 4.3 FPS-8 Deactiv ation If there i s a need to s end FPS-8 box to s omewhere e.g . for repair, box m ust be f irst deactiv ated. FPS-8 can be deac tivated with BoxA ctivation sw. Just select Deac tivate when asked to choose function . Pic 3 Deactiva tion 4.

Step1: power off FPS-8. FPS-8 has to be po wered off when m ounting m emory modules or DC T-3 power supply ACS-10 module.
