GB 3 Mediamast er • Do not use any other power supply than the original unit delivered with the Mediamaster . • Allow 10 cm space ar ound the Mediamaster f or sufficient ventilation. • Do not cover the Mediamast er’s ventilation openings with items such as news- papers, tablecloths, curtains etc.
GB 4 Remote c ontr ol This section describes how to oper ate the Mediamaster using the butt ons on the remote control. mute / Press onc e to turn the sound off/on (mute). Press and hold f or a few sec onds to swit ch the Mediamaster into standby mode.
GB 5 Fr ont and rear panel Fr ont panel A constant green light indic ates that the Mediamaster is turned ON. A constant r ed light indicates standby mode. Flashes red when commands fr om the re- mote contr ol are rec eived. Continously flashes green during softwar e update.

GB 7 Connecting the Mediamast er Connecting to the TV aerial Y ou can c onnect the Mediamaster to the following type of aerials: 1. Standard out door aerial Where possible, use an outdoor r oof aerial intended for rec eiving UHF channels between 21 and 69.
GB 8 Connecting the Mediamast er Connecting to the TV without SCAR T • Remove the aerial lead from your TV and c onnect this to the TV AERIAL input socket on the Mediamast er . • Connect an RF cable from the TV/VCR output on the Mediamast er to the RF input sock et on the TV .

GB 10 First time installation General inf ormation Once you have c orrectly connect ed the Mediamaster , you also have to perform a “Fir st time installation. ” During this proc edure, helpful inf ormation is displayed at the bot - t om of the menus.
GB 11 Watching TV & list ening t o Radio General Inf ormation Y ou can watch digital TV and list en to digital radio with this Media- master . • If no TV channel is automatically shown after you have finished the installation proc edure, pr ess the P+ or P- button t o select a channel.
GB 12 Watching TV & list ening t o Radio T empor ary settings By pressing opt you open a menu in which it is possible to enter t emporary settings. Settings made in this “options menu” ar e only v alid for the pr ogramme you are curr ently watching.

GB 14 Navi Bars Banner time-out When you switch channels, an information banner will be shown f or a few sec onds. Y ou can select how long the banner will be shown.
GB 15 Navi Bars TV folder Time adjustment The time is adjusted by using the buttons, ± 1/2 an hour at a time. TV screen f ormat Select your TV screen f ormat. The 4:3 format is the standar d format f or most TV screens. Select 16:9 for widescr een TV .
GB 16 Edit lists folder The TV folder may c ontain lots of channels. By creating your own lists you can mak e channel handling more c onvenient. From these menus you can cr eate and edit favourite channel lists. Select list If you have several lists and w ant to make changes in them, select which list by using the buttons.
GB 17 Rename selected list Give the list a new name. Refer t o “Create list” on the pr evious page. Delete select ed list If you want to delete a list c ompletely , first select the list with the butt ons on the line “Select list”. Then step down to “Delet e selected list” and delete it.
GB 18 Lock channels To get to this menu you first have to enter your ac cess c ode. From the f actory the acc ess code is set t o 1234 . From her e you can lock (and later unlock) channels in or der to pr e- vent e.g. your children fr om watching. • Select the channel you want to lock and pr ess info .
GB 19 Advanc ed manual search Y ou can use this menu if you ar e looking for some “specific” chan- nels (i.e. non-DVB standard channels) which can be mor e easy to find when you have entered the nec essary PID settings here. Channel: Select the channel you w ant to search for .
