Introduction The IPC-6 is a sophisticated intelligent power controll er . It is capabl e of complete power on/off management in the most complicated Audio or Home Theater Systems.

Installation Considerations IPC-6 T otal Power Capacity Check that the total power consum pti on of all the devices plugged into the IPC-6 does not exceed 1 500 watts. If the total power is greater tha n 1 500 watts, you wi ll need to tri g- ger a Ni l es AC-3 voltage controll ed power strip from one of the IPC-6's 1 2 volt control outputs.
7 I NTELLIGENT P OW E R C ONTR OLLER POWER LED Indicates the IPC-6 has power . PROGRAM BUTTON Begins and ends all programming. OUTLET CONTROL LEDS Normally , these indicate whether the outlet is on or activated. However , if you are in the PS program mode these indicate which outlet is being program- ming.

11 I NTELLIGENT P OW E R C ONTR OLLER 5. Plug the IPC-6's AC power plug into an unswitched AC power outl et. All the li ghts on the front panel wi ll li ght for 2 seconds whi l e the IPC-6 ’ s microprocessor checks all condi- ti ons. If everything is ok, all but the red POWER LED will turn off.
