DEPTH TH52 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Thru-Hull Depth Transducer Low Profile, Flush, and Retractable Models IMPORTAN T: Please read these instructi ons completely before proceeding with the installation. These directions supersede any other instructions in your instrument manual if they differ.
DEPTH TH52 3 Mounting Location 3.1 Acoustic Noise Acoustic noise is alway s present and t hese sound w aves can interfere w ith the operation of the transducer. Background noise from sources such as: waves, fish, and other vessels cannot be controlled.

DEPTH TH52 5.3 Installation in a Cored Fiberglass Hull The core (wood or foam) must be cut and sealed carefully . The core must be protected from water seepage, and the hull m ust be reinforced to prevent it from crushing under the hull nut allowing the housing to become loose.
DEPTH TH52 6 CONNECTION TO INSTRUMENT/CONTACTS The depth transducer connects to t he FI-30 Server or directly. The transducer cable is clearly marked w i th No 2 and the colours w ill correspond to input screw terminal on the Server.
