6 Putting the SK 3063- U transmitter into operation Selecting a microphone The SK 3063-U transmitter can be used with the Sennheiser MKE 2-4 , MKE 102-4 (omni-directional) and MKE 40-4, MKE 10 4-4 (cardioid) clip-on microphones. The power supply of these microphones is via the microphone inpu t 쐎 of the transmitter.
7 T o attach t he B 50/B 250 battery pack: 왘 Using the thumb and index finger of one hand, push the two catches 쐏 on the transmitter as shown in diagram A . The battery pack can now be removed from the transmitter. 왘 Insert the batteries into the ba ttery compartment as shown in diagram B or C .
8 The B 50/B 250 battery pack The B 50/B 250 battery pack has the following features: Attaching and removing the accupack 왘 Using the thumb and index finger of one hand, push the two catches 쐏 on the transmitter as shown in diagram A on page 6. The accupack can now be re moved from the transmitter .

10 Attaching the transmitter to clot hing The transmitter is attached to cl othing (e.g. belt, waistb and) with the suppli ed belt clip. The clip is detachable so that you can also attach the transmitter with the cable a nd the antenna pointing downwards .
11 Using the SK 3063-U transmitter Switching the transmitter on 왘 Attach the power pack to the transmitter. 왘 T o switch the transmitter on, set the on/off switch 쐂 to ON . The red operation indicator 쐆 lights up. If the operation indicator 쐆 does not light up, check the power pack.
12 Adjusting the sensitivity The sensitivity switch 쐊 allows you to adjust the gain of the microphone input in 8 steps. T o provide for an accurate setting, use a receiver fitted with a deviat ion indicator when ad justing the sensitivity . The sensit ivity is set correctly wh en the PEAK LED 쐆 flashes brightly only duri ng peak levels.
