5 Usage Instructions Attaching t o Y our Comput er Connecting Voyager S3 t o a Macintosh or a Windows computer is a very straight - forward procedure . 1. Plug the AC pow er cord into the w all and into the DC transformer . 2. Plug the DC cord into the V oyager S3 power r eceptacle.
6 Using a Hard Driv e Docked in Vo yager S3 Macintosh If the drive has been previously formatted or has da ta on it, an icon for the driv e will show on the Desktop , and you may use it like you w ould any other external drive.
7 Window s Special drivers are not requir ed for use with W indows 98SE & higher . I f the drive has been previously formatt ed, the drive will appear under “My Computer ” as an external device, and you may use it like an y other ex ternal drive.
