4 5 1. DANGER!: Keep hands away from cutting area and blade. Keep your second hand on auxiliary handle or motor housing. If both hands are holding the saw , they cannot be cut by the blade. Do not reach underneath the work- piece. The guard cannot protect you from the blade below the workpiece.

8 9 3. Hold the front of the shoe and rotate the saw by the handle to the desired angle as indicated by the markings on the bevel scale (Fig. 8). 4. T ighten the bevel adjusting knob se- curely . Fig. 8 5. Place the blade fl ange on the spindle and hand tighten the bolt.
10 11 3. When restarting a saw in the work- piece, center the saw blade in the kerf, or cut, and check that saw teeth are not engaged into the material. If saw blade is binding, it may walk up or KICKBACK from the workpiece as the saw is restarted. 4.

We recommend using a Sawzall ® reciprocating saw or jig saw for this type of cut.

22 23 Réglage de biseau 1. Enlevez la batterie. 2. Pour régler l’angle de coupe, tenez la scie par la poignée et dévissez le bouton de réglage de biseau (Fig. 7). 3. Faites monter ou descendre la semelle jusqu’à ce qu’elle se trouve à la position désirée.
