With the throttle lever in the fast position, the engine speed should be around 2,300 RPM, therefore engaging the cen- trifugal clutch.

After 200 hours of operation, remove the upper belt cover to check the V -belt tension. T ension is proper if the belt bends about 10 mm when depressed strongly with finger between shafts.
