Page 7 Using Y our Mandoline Adjusting the Thickness You can adjust the thickness of a given cut by loosening the black plastic knob on both sides of the Mandoline and adj usting the upper glide plate to the thickness of cut desired and then tighteni ng the knobs on both sides (figure 4).
Page 8 Using Y our Mandoline cont’d Serrated Blade (Crinkle & Waffle Cuts) The serrated blade (figure 7) must be in- serted from the side of the Mandoline in the horizontal position (figure 6). It is ideal for crinkle and waffle cuts. A crinkle cut re- quires only one pass over the blade.
