99-8214 1 Disconnect the negative batter y terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 Unclip and remove A/C control panel. (Figure A) 2 TOYOT A T ACOMA 2005-2011 Remove (4) 10 MM bolts securing radio . (Figure B) 3 Unclip and remove entire panel including hazard switch and clock.

99-8214 KIT ASSEMBL Y TOYOT A T ACOMA 2005-2011 Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure B) 2 Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure . (Figure C) 3 Secure the Radio Housing into the dash using the factor y hardwar e .
99-8214 KIT ASSEMBL Y TOYOT A T ACOMA 2005-2011 Attach the corresponding radio housing bracket to the radio housing using the included (4) #8 x 3/8” Phillips truss head screws. (Figure A) 1 Mount the ISO Brackets to the head unit with the screws supplied with the unit.
5 Slide the aftermarket radio unit into the factor y brack ets and secure the unit to the brackets using the screws supplied with the head unit. (Figure A) 1 A B REMOVE CLOCK/HAZARD SWITCH BRACKET ASS.
6 Slide the aftermarket radio units into the factor y brack ets and secure the unit to the brackets using the screws supplied with the head unit. (Figure A) 1 Secure the aftermarket radio units and factor y brack et assembly into the sub dash.
7 FINAL ASSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factor y wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent 2 Re-connect the negative batter y terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
