6 If using a pow er supp ly cord : Use a U L listed po wer supply cord kit marked f or use with cl othes drye rs. T he kit should contain : ■ A UL listed 3 0-amp po wer supply cord, rate d 120/240 volt m inimum. T he cord should be type SRD or SRDT and be a t least 4 ft (1.
7 Electrical Connection 1. Discon nect pow er . 2. Remove th e hold- down screw a nd ter minal bl ock cover . 3. Install stra in relief. Style 1: P o wer su pply c ord s tr ain re lief ■ Remove the sc rews fr om a ³⁄₄ " (1.9 cm) UL listed strain re lief (UL mark ing on strai n relief).
8 ■ Put po wer supp ly cord t hrough the str ain rel ief. Be sur e that the wire insulatio n on the power sup ply cord is insid e the str ain relief. T he strai n relief should hav e a tight fi t with the dryer c abinet and b e in a horizo ntal position.
