5 Using your Hob T o swit ch the hob on T o s witch the pow er on, touch and hold the for appr oximately tw o seconds. The hob will beep and all four zone displa ys will show zer o. Please not e: If a pow er level is no t set within ten seconds, the hob will swit ch off automatically .
6 Childlock The hob is equipped with a childloc k to lock the contr ols. This can be used when the hob is off or during cooking. T o swit ch on the childloc k T ouc h the key for appr oximately two sec onds until the LED above the childloc k key illuminates and the hob beeps to confirm the childloc k is switched on.
7 Efficient Use of your Hob The hob is equipped with zones of differ ent sizes, designed to accommodate most shapes and sizes of pan. F or best results, only use pans with flat bottoms and c hoose an appropriate z one depending on the size of the pan.
