J2K100 User’s Manual Page 4 Revision 1.0 2.4 Connecting the J2K100 The J2K100 requires two electrical connections as shown in Figu re 2. Refer to Section 2.4.1 for making the NMEA 2000 ® connection and Section 2.4.2 for making the J1939 connection.

J2K100 User’s Manual Page 6 Revision 1.0 2.5.1 J1939 Source Address Selection The J2K100 connects into a J1939 network and translates messages from a single J1939 device into NMEA 2000 ® messages. By default, the J2K100 only translates J1939 messages from a J1939 device with a source address of zero.
