Getting started • T urn on the power of the TV , amplifier and any other components which are connected to the D VD player . • Make sure the TV and audio receiver (commercially av ailable) are set to the correct channel. Press the PO WER button. •“ P-ON ” will appear briefly on the display panel.
– 16 – EN PLA YING A DISC Fast Forwar d / Rever se Search During playbac k, press the ST OP b utton. • Resume message will appear on the TV screen. Press the PLA Y button, pla y- back will resume from the point at which pla yback was stopped. • T o cancel Resume, press the ST OP button twice.
Press the SEARCH MODE button. • The Track Search displa y appears. Within 30 seconds, select a desired track n umber using the Numeric buttons . • For the disc with less than 10 tr acks, press the trac k number directly .
Y ou may determine the order in which tracks will pla y . In Stop mode, press the MODE button. • The PROGRAM screen will appear . 1 CD A-B REPEA T Press the A-B REPEA T button at your chosen starting point. • A- appears briefly on the TV screen. Press the A-B REPEA T button again at your chosen end point.
• If a track is selected, press the PLA Y or ENTER button to star t pla ying tracks . Star ting from the one that has been chosen and the subsequent tracks will be pla yed. • When selecting the folders: – Press the Cursor button ( B ) when you want to go to the next hier archy .
Y ou can check each file during playbac k. Press the DISPLA Y b utton. • The name of the file currently in play will be displa yed. <Example: MP3> Press the DISPLA Y button again to show the trac k num- ber , the elapsed time (MP3 only), the repeat status, and the pla yback status at the top of the screen.
I n Stop mode, press the RANDOM b utton. • The RANDOM screen will appear . Press the PLA Y button to start Random Pla yback. • For a disc containing mix ed MP3, JPEG and WMA files, Random Playbac k of those files will be performed.
Y ou can enjoy stereophonic virtual space through your e xisting 2 channel stereo system. P ess the MODE button during pla yback. Press the Cursor buttons ( s or B ) or ENTER b utton to set it 1(Natural eff ect), 2(Emphasised eff ect) or OFF . Press the MODE or RETURN button to e xit.
STILL MODE (Default : A UT O) • Press the Cursor buttons ( K or L ) for an item selection (A UT O, FIELD , or FRAME), then press the ENTER button. • This adjusts the resolution of pictures in the still (P A USE) mode.
NO TE: • This function may not w ork on some D VDs. Be sure if the ratings operates in the w ay y ou have set. T o Change the Pass word: 1) F ollow the steps to above . 2) Press the Cur sor b uttons ( K or L ) to select “ P ASS- WORD CHANGE ” , then press the ENTER button.
